Toyota Caldina and its features

After the Toyota Carina Surf was slowly discontinued, it was soon replaced by the superior Toyota Caldina.

With great performance, enhanced handling and maximum control over sharp turns, this was a car which ticked all the right brackets for the prospective customer. This was a much loved car in the Japanese market. The sad part for those outside Japan was that this was one car which was never exported by the company despite good demand in the external markets. Import cars from the Japanese markets were a vogue all over the world and continue to be the same even today.
Toyota Caldina

The government of Japan has a strict policy over the control and maintenance of cars and hence their used cars market is doing so well. Used Toyota Caldina’s can be found in southern parts of America, Russia and even in some parts of Europe. The best import cars Australia come from the land of Japan.

One of the best features of the Caldina is its four wheel drive and the capacity to handle the roughest of terrains, be it barren land of steep hills. The extra storage space provided in their wagons is a great deal for families going on long journeys or for adventure seekers traversing the countryside. It can easily handle a good load and its powerful engine can easily mask the effects of the strain felt by the car.

Its handling is smooth, efficient, and is a treat to drive over long distances in total comfort and luxury. Purchasing a used Caldina from the Japanese market provides the added benefit of it being pre stocked with a number of useful accessories. This will help you save up on the money to install those accessories which are already present as well as allowing you to test them at the earliest.

The Caldina is a steal at the prices available in the current used cars market. You only need to know where to get it from. Generally, online websites are the best bet for purchasing this vehicle. There are some sites which also have car auctions where the Caldina will surely be available.

Nissan Skyline v35 versus Mitsubishi Evo 8 mr: Clash of two titans

Japan is the third largest manufacturer of Automobiles in the world. What makes a Japanese car so special? Let us take an example where we pit two Japanese Cars against each other and find out what makes them so desirable. Not only are these two automobiles high performance machines, they have their sweet spots, along with some vulnerability. Here is a write-up on both the cars

Nissan Skyline:  It is the balanced one out of the two. Though it is a late-starter, because of the engine and horsepower disadvantage, it can take some time to catch up with the Mitsubishi Evo 8 mr. However, on the sixth gear, it can leave Mitsubishi trailing behind. Moreover, it is quite balanced. The braking is perfect. It is more of a city car than a rally car due to the heavy steering. On a straight-line, it is no better than the Evolution 8 mr. Whatever be the verdict, at the end of the day, it is a clear winner. It is just like the Elgrand e50 which is high on performance and power, once it gets running.

Mitsubishi Evo 8 mr: It is a darling in its own right. The mid range acceleration can stun a Nissan enthusiast. The Skyline being a high-end performer has a heavier engine and kerb weight/curb mass. Moreover, Mitsubishi Evo 8 mr is way lot cheaper than a Nissan Skyline. Owing to these two factors, this makes it the desirable one out of the two.

An overview of the Toyota Supra

Between 1979 and 2002, Toyota came up with the Supra, a sports car with great oomph. This has been the car which has taken a very long production time in the history of the company’s production. The former Toyota Celica was improvised on to bring about the Supra, a longer, wider and sturdier car. Irrespective of the length of the car, the speed was not compromised on by the designers, ensuring the owners enjoy the thrill of a fast car. Due to the similarity between the Supra and Celica, these cars were often mistaken to be one and the same, however over a period of time Supra became a brand in itself. The luxury and overall power of the car has made this vehicle very famous. This iconic sports car is used in many video games and movies, that’s how popular this model became. Toyota stopped the production of this model officially in 2002 in Japan. However this does not stop one from buying the Supra. A simple online search will help you get acquainted with Supra for sale. Nissan Elgrand- True Luxury and Ultimate Class

Ever since it was introduced in 1997, the Nissan Elgrand has conquered the hearts of millions of car lovers around the world. In fact, celebrities across the world (especially those in East Asia) have endorsed the car.  When it was introduced in 1997, Elgrand was touted to be a tough competitor to the Toyota Alphard.

Today, they’re available in three versions- The First Generation, also called the E50, The Second Generation also called the Second Generation, and the third and final version called E52 that was introduced in 2010. There’s also the latest Nissan Elgrand S Series with the NISMO tune kit.  It was first unveiled at the Japan Auto Expo.

Nissan’s USP is its sleek and dated exterior; so much so, that even after the introduction of the second and third model, the first model hasn’t lost its charm and character.  Even second hand Nissan Elgrand for sale fetches a good price.

The engine used for Nissan Elgrand – the VQ35DE is indeed one of the best in the world, making it one of the best in the world. Just as the exteriors, the interiors too are A-Class.  They’re comfortably spacious with a sporty look, a nine inch television screen and DVD player.  Backseats can be flexibly moved to make way for extra room for dining or other activities.  Other interior features include side mirrors, rear roof spoilers, aluminum alloy wheels, chromed grille etc. They’ve also introduced the keyless feature that makes it convenient and comfortable for drivers who’re always on the go.

It is also a good performance car in terms of fuel consumption.  For instance, the actual performance on road for an E51 is around 9.5 kms which is not bad for a vehicle that has a 2.5 litre MVP.

Nissan Elgrand is undoubtedly the best car in the family luxury vehicle segment.  Although the car was initially designed to be a caravan extreme customization can change the entire look of the car.  Thus automatic curtains can be installed; heat systems can be introduced etc.

You can always source your Nissan Elgrand for sale from one of the many dealers for the vehicle. Before you buy, make sure that they have easy payment options and other additional features.

Everything you wanted to know about the Nissan stagea s15

Manufactured first in 1996, the elegant Nissan stagea has 3 versions till 2008, the early WC34 Series 1 between1996 to late 1998, the WC34 Series 2 from late 1998 to 2001 and the latest M35 Series , manufactured between 2001 to 2007. This station wagon, referred to as the Skyline Wagon, when fitted with a 2.6 l twin turbo has given the Subaru Legacy touring wagon a run for its money in the domestic Japanese market. The ever popular Nissan stagea is a smart choice indeed as this vehicle, which comes in both 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive options.

In the WC34 series 1, it has engine power ranging from 153 hp (114kW) to 276 hp in the 2.6L engine models. Mechanically similar to the R33 Skyline, this station wagon is indeed an elegant looking car. A fine example of the Nissan wagon, this model has top of the range features and can be fitted with turbo power, sun roof, and could be painted silver, snowy white, dark blue or even fire clear red to match one’s personality.

For cars in the WC34 series 2, the engine choice is basically the same with up rated new version of the RB series and a tiptronic auto transmitter. In the M35 series though, the models resemble the Skyline sedan and the engine too changed from RB series to VQ series.

The prominence of the Skyline in movies, auto and magazines and fast paced video games has added to the popularity of this compact car, identified with its trademark brake and tail lights and the high performance GTR rim. As a matter of interest for some it is a fact that when 225 Nissan Skylines were used for racing or driving in the course of the racetrack during the International Styling and Tuning Show, it created a record that was included in the Guinness Book of World Record because the biggest procession of Nissan cars was organized on April 11, 2010 at Silverstone Circuit, United Kingdom.

For those into racing, the Nismo GT LSD has been used for various models from Nissan, including the Nissan stagea s15. Tried and tested in Japan, this motor part is used by race drivers on the international circuit, in Super Taiku, tuning car racing, on the street, circuit attack and also drifting. In this professionally manufactured unit, the generation torque is equally distributed to the right and left shaft unlike imprecisely manufactured LSDs. Smooth steering during acceleration or braking is a feature of this LSD used in Nissan stagea s15.

Nissan stagea, with its healthy fuel consumption, is probably one of the one of the best track cars you could drive and has less gadgetry to go wrong too. Indeed, it is not one of the ordinary beast cars from the video games but a lean, mean purring beauty.

Finding the Best Engine Importers Sydney

Are you looking forward to import Japanese car to Australia? According to experts, importing a car from Japan has a number of advantages attached with it.

Over the years, Japanese motor imports have become very common. There was never a doubt about the efficiency and the ability of Japanese cars to perform under different circumstances. Japanese cars and car manufacturing Companies have been considered the best across the globe.
Apart from a car, you can also import an engine from Japan. Yes, if you already own a car and you want to update it by installing a superior engine, you can do so by importing one. There are a number of engine importers Sydney. You will come across a host of them online.

It is important that you look into a few aspects before you go ahead and opt for an engine provider or importer. To begin with, make sure the importer is not new in the market. It makes sense to opt for one who is renowned. You can give top priority to importers who have a presence in the market from a considerable amount of time.

It is highly recommended that you run through a number of reviews before you take any decision. Apart from the wide range of engines and their quality, you also need to look into the standard of the service the importer has on offer. Holden Engine importers in Sydney making profit due to a strong currency

A strong Australian Dollar has helped Holden to earn more profits. This has in return helped in reducing the margin of losses Holden has been making in present times. Australian made vehicles are not as popular as Japanese imports, so it has been suffering this fate. However, the economy of Australia is growing faster than others. Holden is also maintaining a zero-debt record as of now.

Holden’s balance sheet is very healthy as of now. In 2012, Holden made an approximate profit of 90 Million AUD. The Australian Government invested a similar amount in the local automobile company. This issue got many a tongues wagging, and as of now simmering gently as a mere speculation.  But what is creating the real troube is the fact that the developing economy has resulted in sky rocketing of labour wages.

Auto companies based in Sydney which relies on Jap engine imports and importers are the ones who have a better chance of earning a higher profit than the local car maker. Commodore and Cruze sales are just not picking up while Nissan and Mitsubishi are raising the bar constantly. Even Ford Co. is pulling out of Australia. But what’s shocking is that motor imports are running healthily with no chances to slow down in the future. Industry insiders have revealed that the Australian car makers has assigned a top-secret assignment to cost analysts as to what may be the reason behind the constant slipping of the Holden.

Of all Jap imports, Nissan Silvia S15 is the best in Austarlia.

Nissan Silvia S 15 sells the best the entire world over. Not only has it managed to silence it critics, who treated it more as a Gazelle than a coupe. It has even impressed the female drivers who need cars which steer better. Normally, the S series has been created with the male driver in mind. S series are better preferred in the all terrain rallies, where drift forms a necessary constituent in the sport. A car without drift could end banged up in the wall or in a gorge.

Nissan has to import cars to Australia. While the makers are trying all kinds of tricks to avert the fat tax on all Jap imports, the only logical way out of this dilemma, would be to set up a local manufacturing unit. The tax laws imposed are made to safeguard the interest of Australian auto-makers. It would be better to follow a simple plan to set up the manufacturing unit. This would result in the slashing of the tax-duty prices on all the models. Sales do not need a lot of attention as Nissan Automobiles have a large fan following in the Australian Continent.

Nissan Silvia S 15 is a favourite, both for the common man and the racer. Drifting is where the Silvia S15 performs a lot better than other Asian counterparts. It is particularly a craze in the young auto buyers, who take it out for a quick spin. Whatever be the reason, Nissan Silvia dominates all Jap imports. If you want  a S15, then you need to contact a dealer who import Jap cars to Australia.

My experience with Toyota Estima!

Japanese cars are defined by their excellent performance, state of the art capabilities and wondrous designs. Every time a Japanese manufacturer comes up with a new car, it surpasses all standards of brilliance and creates news the world over. Japanese car manufacturers thrive on consistency and have always delivered products that perform, unlike others who sell on celebrity endorsements and advertising appeal.

A couple of years back; I had the esteemed opportunity to buy a Toyota Tarago. It was one of the best decisions of my life since the car didn’t disappoint at all. Being a diesel engine, the car gave me a pretty wonderful experience. You might be question my choice by being a composed driver that I am, this car was perfectly suitable for my liking since it works best if you don’t take it beyond 3000 RPM. If you plan to drive it like a petrol car and take it to extremely high speeds, it won’t last you long.

Throughout the car’s life, it gave me a pretty good mileage and to ensure that you receive a similar experience, you should get the oil changed twice every year regardless of the miles driven.

Being a car enthusiast, my friends trust me with their cars and as a result, I’ve had the opportunity to drive other Japanese vehicles as well. One of them was Nissan Skyline v35, a people mover in the literal sense. Its seating capabilities make it a grand car, most suitable for a family going for outdoor long distance road trips. The other car I’ve driven is the Nissan Elgrand for sale, another prestigious vehicle you should grab!

Can Japanese cars be trusted over others contemporaries?

Britain has shown the world what car designing is all about, with exquisite designs that can make the owner look naturally cool. German cars, on the other hand, are known for extremely sophisticated features. However, over the past few decades, Japanese cars have come from behind to take an incredible lead, at a pace faster than what Britain’s Bentley and Germany’s Mercedes can ever reach! Japanese cars have put forth an image of extremely credible cars that have swanky interiors, high end technological features, superior looks and world class performance. Such a combination ensures nothing but the best!

Japanese car makers are known for their innovation when it comes to technological developments. They’ve given the world many a brand such as Toyota, Nissan and Mitsubishi that are on top of the world charts in terms of sales. Toyota’s Corolla holds the record for the maximum number of sales across the globe. Now that we’ve such stats with us, it cannot be argued any further regarding the supremacy of Japanese cars. Japan’s Mitsubishi Evo, short for Lancer Evolution, is a highly regarded car. Because of its highly competitive mechanism and raw looks, it has struck a chord since 1992 with those having a racing temperament. Its racing prowess is undeniably the best in its class and since its inception; the car has also featured in many racing games where street smart guys pick up races with others on multi-player mode!

If you want to buy best import car Australia has seen from Japan, you should try using the internet. Various websites rank Japanese cars on various fronts such as mileage, power, engine, utility, space, comfort and convenience etc. They give stars corresponding to each feature in order to help you decide which your preference is. Secondly, you can also try visiting a local car dealer who has good international connections. Car dealers who specialize in imported cars have a connect with Japanese auto center and can get you imported cars that won’t cost you more than the Japanese make cars available locally. In fact, some cars cost cheaper even after getting them imported from Japan.

Here’s why people don’t mind buying used Japanese cars!

Just like Switzerland is known for its beauty and Italy for its delectable Pizza, Japan is synonym with world class vehicles. The quality of cars produced in this country surpasses the technological inventions of other car manufacturing nations like Britain and Germany. Japanese cars are an epitome of grandeur and magnanimousness; such is the skilled quality of the cars. Be it the magnificent designs or extremely stable handling, Japanese cars have it all in them to give you a smooth experience.

Japanese cars such as Mitsubishi Evo and Toyota Caldina are some of the top most preferred choices of Australian citizens even if the cars are used. To start with, I’d like to tell you that Japan is not much of a car loving country. Even though it produces the best of cars, people prefer using public transport systems over personal cars. The reasons are aplenty such as high cost of gas, extremely high charges of renting a parking space every month, paying huge costs pertaining to car repairs etc. Most of the things pertaining to cars are expensive and that’s why cars are not used much in Japan.

Secondly, Japanese culture looks down upon old things. Even houses that get a little old are broken down and renovated, provided the person has money to bear the expenses. Similarly, cars are barely used for a few years and then sold off. They’re in extremely fine condition at the time of selling. Also, unlike the Japanese cars available in Australia, importing Japanese cars is a cheaper option. In spite of all octroi taxes and import duties, you won’t need much of finance for imported cars. While some cars do cost double the market price to import, it’s not the case with all the cars. Most of the cars are more affordable than locally made cars.
